- Callaway’s 2019 Epic Flash driver combines the new Flash Face Technology with their signature Jailbreak Technology to generate more ball speed and distance.

- Flash Face Technology features a unique mapping of subtle ripples on the back of the face in a pattern developed by artificial intelligence through machine learning to create the best possible pattern to maximize ball speed in the center of the face.

- The ripples on the inner side of the face are forged from special titanium and heat treated to create a combination of flexibility, speed, and strength.

- Callaway continues to utilize Jailbreak Technology, two internal bars that connect the crown and the sole to stiffen and stabilize the club head, generating faster ball speed off the face.

- A new, lighter triaxial carbon crown is made with a material called T2C which features a tighter weave, allowing weight to be distributed in the head to boost forgiveness and MOI on off-center hits.

- Adjustable perimeter weighting lets you control ball flight with a sliding 16-gram weight to allow you to hit straighter shots or create draw/fade bias.

Went on Flightscope at my local club not telling them I had this driver shaved, same swing I have had for years and kept same control with miss hit dispersion tighter since I was swinging much easier, and the ball speed was going up. Smash factors went up as well due to better and tighter impact positions. My head pro was amazed at what I have achieved, you can bet your butt I am having my woods done! Thanks WHD! I am a huge fan of Callaway Clubs. I have hit most of their drivers at one time or another. I bought this Epic Flash a couple of days ago and I have to say that it is definitely hitting 25 yards further than any other Callaway driver I’ve hit. Still very forgiving and sounds great. (Or any other driver for that matter. They took a couple of days longer than expected to get the driver to me so that’s why I only left four stars.
